In two months, we relaunched the Zoomex blog in a highly competitive crypto niche
Overview
Zoomex is a cryptocurrency trading platform that operates on a hybrid CEX+DEX model. It’s designed for active traders, offering fast order execution, support for wallets like MetaMask and Trust Wallet, and access to meme coin and DeFi trading. Users can trade without KYC, and the platform also offers various bonus programs.

Challenge
Zoomex had previously launched a blog and published over 200 articles written by a contractor from India. However, the content failed to address key search queries and didn’t generate consistent organic traffic.
The articles didn’t meet basic SEO standards: they lacked clear structure and didn’t align with the real search intent of the audience. Keyword research was poorly executed, so the articles barely attracted visitors – the average organic CTR hovered around 2%.
Most of the traffic was coming from South Korea and Japan – regions that weren’t part of the client’s target markets. The platform’s business focus was on the US, UK, and India, but traffic from these regions was practically nonexistent. As a result, the blog failed to deliver meaningful business value and couldn’t attract strategically important audiences.
In addition, the website was missing several key SEO elements: well-crafted meta descriptions, a solid internal linking structure, author pages, and signals of author expertise. All of these issues combined were holding back organic growth and made it hard for the platform to compete for traffic in its niche.
Project goals

- Build a foundation of properly optimized content.
- Replace low-intent traffic with commercially valuable users.

What We Did
Kicked off with onboarding and gathered initial data
At the start, Zoomex already had a blog, but it wasn’t delivering results: the content didn’t match real search demand, failed to attract the right audience, and didn’t support business goals. There was also no clear understanding of why the previous approach hadn’t worked or how to fix it.
From day one, Zoomex clearly defined its focus on English-speaking markets: the US and the UK. This set the right strategic direction early on and made it possible to cut off traffic from irrelevant regions.
As a result, Zoomex gained a shared understanding of its target audience, priority markets, and an initial list of topics and keywords. This became the foundation for the SEO strategy and the blog relaunch, with a clear focus on organic growth and commercial value.
We Audited the Website and Built an SEO Growth Strategy
At the start, Zoomex didn’t have a clear, holistic understanding of what was holding back organic traffic growth or which factors were actually limiting search rankings. The blog and the website were growing in an unsystematic way, while key SEO issues remained unresolved.
We kicked things off with a thorough SEO audit to pinpoint the weaknesses that were holding back the site’s organic traffic growth. The audit uncovered several critical issues that prevented search engines from properly ranking the content:
- Most backlinks were coming from low-authority sources.
- Google’s index showed about 1,600 keywords, but only 71 were ranking in the top 3 positions.
- The average organic CTR hovered around 2%, indicating that much of the content wasn’t matching user intent.
- Basic SEO settings were missing: the robots.txt file wasn’t configured correctly, the sitemap contained errors, and some pages returned 404 errors.
- The site’s internal structure didn’t support proper interlinking or link equity distribution across articles.
- Many pages had duplicate or missing titles, poorly written meta descriptions, missing H1 tags, and lacked canonical URLs.
- Page load speed was slow: around 3.8 seconds, especially on mobile devices
During the audit, we analyzed the backlink profile, indexability, organic traffic, load speed, and site structure

Based on the audit results, we set priorities for the next stages of work:
- optimize the site’s internal architecture;
- improve content quality and structure;
- build a comprehensive keyword map for the target markets;
replace underperforming queries with higher-demand topics around memecoins, blockchain platforms, and tokenomics that attract a targeted audience; - launch a consistent link-building strategy focused on high-quality backlinks;
- implement ongoing optimization of meta data, headlines, and article structure.
The work was broken down into phases: the first priority was to launch new content and build out the semantic core to start attracting targeted traffic quickly. Technical site improvements were scheduled for phase two: load speed optimization, fixing indexation errors, internal linking setup, and technical structure enhancements.
Zoomex gained a clear understanding of what was holding back organic traffic growth and where to start. A prioritized SEO plan tied to target markets and business goals was put in place, along with a transparent roadmap for next steps. This laid the foundation for systematic growth, without one-off fixes or loss of focus.
We Collected Keywords and Finalized the Content Plan
We conducted a content gap analysis to identify topics and search queries with strong potential among the target audience. As a result, we compiled over 1,000 relevant keywords for the target markets.
We assessed the level of competition, content types, and the search positions of key players. Then we ran a content gap analysis to identify topics and search queries with strong search potential among the target audience. As a result, we compiled more than 1,000 relevant keywords for the target markets.
Next, we segmented the collected keywords into thematic clusters and took into account the specifics of English-speaking markets. This allowed us to build a topical map that reflected the client’s priorities.
Once the semantic research was complete, we shared a consolidated list of topics with the client. The Zoomex team selected the priority areas and flagged topics that did not fit the current project strategy. This approach helped us focus on the most promising categories and avoid spreading resources too thin.
As a result, Zoomex put in place an aligned content plan focused on the most promising areas:
- Blockchain platforms: Arbitrum, Blast, Avalanche, Ronin, EVM, ERC-20.
- Trading strategies: arbitrage, DCA, leverage trading, technical analysis – MACD.
- Crypto market basics: staking, yield, tokenomics, market capitalization.
- Popular cryptocurrencies and meme coins:
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Shiba Inu, Pepe, Trump tokens.
Based on the approved keyword set, we developed a content plan and detailed briefs for each article. Throughout the process, the client contributed topic ideas, fine-tuned priorities, and quickly updated the publishing schedule as needed.
Here’s What the Author Briefs Looked Like: for each article, we prepared a full outline, a list of keywords, SEO requirements, and quality control guidelines

We Created and Published the Articles
We organized content production in batches. For each new topic, we prepared a detailed brief outlining keywords, article structure, subheadings, recommended CTAs, and SEO markup guidelines. Once the brief was ready, it was passed on to the editor and SEO copywriter.
Completed articles were checked for uniqueness, aiming for a score of 85–90%, and then went through a final editorial review. The finished content was delivered to the client.
Batch Tracker for Article Production: At every stage, the client had full visibility into the status of all content

Within the first two months, we published 30 new SEO-optimized articles. Google reindexed around 1,600 queries across the new thematic clusters. We consistently covered priority topics, ranging from blockchain platform reviews and trading strategies to memecoins and core crypto market concepts.
By the end of month two, organic impressions had increased across several key areas:
- Memecoins: PEPE, SHIBA, TRUMP.
- Forecasts:
X-com, Toshi, Cutoshi, Dogeverse. - Trading: DCA, arbitrage, leverage.
- Education:
tokenomics, staking, funding rate.
We Incorporated Feedback and Made Revisions
After delivering each batch of articles, we received feedback from the client. While we didn’t have direct access to Google Analytics, the client regularly shared comments via email. On average, we processed edits within 1–2 business days after receiving the feedback and updated the texts accordingly.
During revisions, we improved headline clickability, added or refined meta descriptions, fine-tuned CTA wording, and adjusted article structure to better fit the client’s blog format. This ongoing back-and-forth allowed us to keep the content pipeline running smoothly and maintain consistent quality at every stage.
Zoomex gained a controlled and predictable content workflow. Content was published on schedule, and when priorities shifted, we were able to adjust the plan quickly. For example, when there was a need to increase focus on memecoins, we promptly updated the content plan.

Results
Most of Zoomex’s new organic clicks now come from our articles and account for hundreds of visits. Some individual pieces delivered more than 300 clicks, while content from the previous contractor produced only a few dozen clicks in total.
In Q2 2025, the articles attracted around 1,000 new clicks, with 821 coming from pages ranked in the top 1–3 positions. The implemented SEO system and content plan created a foundation for scaling organic traffic.
What this delivered for the client
Instead of hiring in-house specialists or working with yet another SEO agency, Zoomex brought in a dedicated SEO and content team on a subscription basis (80 hours per month). The client didn’t have to keep searching for contractors, re-explaining context, or starting tasks from scratch each time. Our team was already deeply immersed in the product and delivered content on a consistent basis.
Compared to hiring full-time staff, this approach enabled a faster start with lower operational overhead. There was no lengthy hiring process, onboarding, or the need to manage individual roles. Priorities could be adjusted on the fly without slowing the workflow.
As a result, the project attracted a higher-quality audience from the US and the UK – users with genuine commercial intent. Brand awareness grew through organic search without additional ad spend. Educational content increased trust in Zoomex and made the journey from reading articles to registering and starting to use the platform much smoother.
As a result, Zoomex stopped spending budget on content that doesn’t deliver results and gained a predictable, subscription-based SEO system.
